Integration Patterns

toolbox1_edited.jpg

Focused Integration New-to-Old and New-to-New Busts Silo Thinking

Enterprise information pattern language consists of sixty-five patterns structured into 9 categories, which largely follow the flow of a message from one system to the next through channels, routing, and transformations. Gregor Hohpe and Bobby Woolf first developed this pattern language.

This is included in the ACD toolkit as a tool to help clarify the 'messaging' requirements of a proposed solution. Not all sixty-five patterns will be used. I'd say I've used around twenty over ten years, across multiple clients.
